Collections upon which this report is based are from Carter Creek in the northeastern part of Arctic Alaska and from St. Augustine Island near the mouth of Cook Inlet, Alaska.
|
*** Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector): This is additional material from same locality on Carter Creek that was submitted last year. In addition, collections 70ADt-1560, 1562, unit 2, and 1562, unit 3, are from Augustine Island, Cook Inlet, Alaska. The island is a volcano with a few hundred feet of sediments along the south shore, and I need an age assignment.
