Locality: Field No. 68ACn1621
Description: Cascaden Fm., east entrance to pit no. 8 in a broad ditch on north side of Livengood Road (Fairbanks to Livengood). [Nearly the same horizon as 68ACn1602. In shale, silty med. gray, with thin sandy interbeds and orange-weathering 1-2' limestone beds.(according to Transmittal sheet from Churkin)]

Age: Frasnian (almost certainly Frasnian)
Formation: Cascaden Ridge unit
Comment:This is almost certainly Late Devonian (Frasnian) in age because of the presence of Macgeea. This is not known to occur in pre-Late Devonian rocks within North America.
