Collector: Bob Hickman, 1971. (description from Request for Examination of Fossils form submitted by Campbell Craddock, Nov. 29, 1971)

MP-183 , Healy , Near base of Cantwell Formation; 0.15 miles from 5558 foot peak, NE corner of Sec. 23, T16S, R6W, Healy C-4 quadrangle, on bearing N 74 deg. W; interbedded siltstone and sandstone. poorly preserved plants
A-2 , Healy , These samples were collected from sandstone beds up to about 6 feet thick that were interbedded with bituminous coal and carbonaceous shales in beds to 3-4 ft. thick. The best fossils were found along the contact of the sandstone with a prominent coal bed. All of these units are members of the Cantwell Formation - exact stratigraphic position unknown, but probably in the upper of the Cantwell sediments. The specimen locality was located 5 airmiles from the McKinley Park Hotel in a southeasterly direction. NW corner of the SE quarter of Sect. 19 of T 14 S - R 6 W, Healy C-4 quadrangle. Collector: Thomas R. Bultman - Summer, 1971. (description from Request for Examination of Fossils form submitted by Campbell Craddock, Nov. 24, 1971)
coniferous shoots probably referable to Metasequoia
T-13 , Healy , Lower part of Cantwell Formation, interbedded siltstone, sandstone and conglomerate. 6.45 miles on a 5.5 deg. bearing from Fang Mountain. Sectrion 31, T14S, R8W, HealyC-5 quadrangle. Collector: Warren Wegner, 1971. (description from Request for Examination of Fossils form submitted by Campbell Craddock, Nov. 29, 1971)
coniferous shoots probably referable to Metasequoia

leaf that can be questionably referred to Hamamelidaceae
MP-45 , Healy , Base of Cantwell Formation; 1.9 miles from Slime VABM on bearing N 65 deg. E; black siltstone and shale. Healy B-4 quadrangle. Collector: Bob Hickman, 1971. (description from Request for Examination of Fossils form submitted by Campbell Craddock, Nov. 29, 1971)
Metasequoia
portion of a leaf that, in characters preserved matches Dicotylophyllum alaskana (Holl.) Wolfe
MP-cc-1 , Healy , Lower part of Cantwell Formation; 2.2 miles E. of Mound VABM. The sequence here is composed of sandstone and interbedded dark gray siltstone and shale. Sec. 20, T16S, R6W, Healy C-4 quadrangle. Collector: Campbell Craddock, 1971. (description from Request for Examination of Fossils form submitted by Campbell Craddock, Nov. 29, 1971)

fragmentary leaf that has the marginal venation and type of teeth of Dicotylophyllum flexuosa (Newb.) Wolfe
d-1 (Paleobot. loc. 11282) , Healy , This sample was collected from the Cantwell Formation in a locality where shales, siltstones, and sandstone with bedding thicknesses of a few inches to a few feet alternated. The fossils were commonly found in the siltstone where it was in contact with the carbonaceous shale. A great abundance of plant imprints were present. It was located three miles due south of the McKinley Park Hotel. N.W. corner of SE quarter of Sec. 21, T14S, R7W, Healy C-4 quadrangle. Collector: Thomas R. Bultman, summer, 1971.
