, These samples were collected from sandstone beds up to about 6 feet thick that were interbedded with bituminous coal and carbonaceous shales in beds to 3-4 ft. thick. The best fossils were found along the contact of the sandstone with a prominent coal bed. All of these units are members of the Cantwell Formation - exact stratigraphic position unknown, but probably in the upper of the Cantwell sediments. The specimen locality was located 5 airmiles from the McKinley Park Hotel in a southeasterly direction. NW corner of the SE quarter of Sect. 19 of T 14 S - R 6 W, Healy C-4 quadrangle. Collector: Thomas R. Bultman - Summer, 1971. (description from Request for Examination of Fossils form submitted by Campbell Craddock, Nov. 24, 1971)
