*** Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):Very few fossils are found in this area so identification of the few we do have is important for determination of stratigraphic sequence. Area is in the Waring Mountains north of the Koyukuk Cretaceous Basin, separated from the basin sediments by igneous rocks of the Buckland Hills. From very fine to gritty medium dark gray limestone. Weather brillant orange. Carbonized plant stems, reed, etc., very abundant, Coaly seems, carbonaceous seems.
