210 (USNM loc. 2310) , Sitka , vicinity of Sitka [Hollick, 1936, p. 54 states: "This generic identification, without description or illustration, was based, according to Lesquereux, one specimen (lot 210, U. S. Nat. Mus. no. 2310) collected by E. W. Nelson at Sitka; but Knowlton as remarked as follows in regard to it: "I am informed by Mr. Nelson that he never visited Sitka and did not bring back any fossil plants from Alaska. This throws doubt on the specimens so recorded, and their locality and collector remain unknown."
