None of the specimens are sufficiently well preserved for generic determination. The first two entities are not particularly significant from the standpoint of age; in Alaska, both Dennstaedtia and Glyptostrobus are common in Paleocene assemblages, and the former genus has not been found in beds younger than Paleocene. Ulmaceae are not, insofar as I am aware, older than Maestrichtian; ulmaceous leaves are common in Paleocene assemblages in Alaska, but the family is known in beds as young as Pliocene. Based on these meager data, an age of Maestrichtian or Paleocene is possible, and a Paleocene age is more probable.

The collections from localities 71AR-11 and 71AR-15 are even less diagnostic. The latter contains Glyptostrobus? sp. and an indeterminable member of Pinaceae, and 71AR-11 contains dicotyledonous leaves of the Grewiopsis-type (common in Late Cretaceous and Paleocene assemblages). Neither of these collections are being assigned a permanent number. The material can be picked up in my office.
