, Near the center of of a series of low cut-banks extending about 500 ft along the north bank of Cheeneetnuk River. Rock is mostly soft, gray silty sandstone overlying a 4 foot coal beds containing sheared calcareous rock. Abundant plant fossils in some of the sandstone beds. Rock strikes about parallel to the river and is compressed into one or more folds - not more than 25 ft of section exposed here.
