Your collections from the Christian and Arctic quadrangles, Alaska (Rr 635, Be 661, Be 672) are certainly the most significant of any Paleozoic plant collections that have been sent me from Alaska, in that they contain an abundance of the genus Pseudobornia Nathorst. This is the first known occurrence of Pseudobornia in the Western Hemisphere; previously the genus has been found only in the Upper Devonian of Bear Island, south of Spitzbergen
