This shipment contains four collections of which one is Permian (84AMu60-1); two are Mississippian (84AHa12 and 84AGe1) and one is indeterminate (84AMu70-1). The three datable collections all contain elements of faunas that are characteristic of central Brooks Range stratigraphic units, having been found in many places in the foothills belt extending from the Killik to the Itkillik valleys (see especially Patton and Tailleur, 1964). Collections retained.
