Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
New fossil find which appears to substantiate the presence of late Paleozoic island arc rocks in the Talkeetna Mountains (see: Csejtey, Bela, Jr. 1974, Reconnaissance geologic investigations in the Talkeetna Mountains, Alaska: U.S. Geol. Survey open-file report no. 74-147, 48p). Need age determination of fossils for a short note in “Geology”. Paper is already written, now waiting for fossil ages.

SE of Stephan Lake and 2.9 mi. NE of VABM 5840 "GREBE", on NE slope of large hill about 200 ft. above unnamed creek; fossils from recrystallized bioclastic limestone. Collector: B.
