The collections seem to range in age from late Leonard to Guadalupe (in terms of Southwest U.S. correlations). The youngest possible age cannot be determined from these collections, but the youngest sample with identifiable specimens is 23208-PC, from 270 feet below the Nikolai Greenstone. These specimens resemble some from the Tahkandit Formation, about 200 miles distant to the northeast. That formation has been dated as Guadalupe in age.
