Stratigraphic range: Middle Devonian?
Kinds of fossils: Brachiopods
Quadrangle or area: Baird Mtns. quad.
Shipment No.: A-83-27b
Referred by: Harris, Anita G.
Report prepared by: Dutro, J. Thomas, Jr.
Date: 10/21/1983

This report covers 3 collections, turned over to me by Anita Harris. All three collections are possibly Middle Devonian, with varying degrees of certainty. The carbonate rock has been metamorphosed and the shell material is recrystallized, so that original shell structures are obliterated. However, general shell shape and larger morphologic features are retained. This permits some educated guesses as to the brachiopod genera present. The collections are discussed below, the most convincing listed first. Collections retained.
