This report covers four collections from the Echooka Member of the Sadlerochit Formation. All contain elements of the Arctic Permian fauna (see report to Detterman, 1/25/71). The age is eithr late Early Permian or early Late Permian.

Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
Identification of formation and zones represented will contribute to the stratigraphic and structural interpretation of the area and additionally permit large scale regional geologic interpretations and integration with Canadian work.

70ARr 245 (24401-PC) , Mt Michelson , Permian brachs from Sadlerochit Formation--from deep gorge in breached anticlinal fold in Marsh Fork. Sheared Lisburne Limestones overlain by Sadlerochit. Fossils roughtly 20 feet abvoe contact. Sec. 23, T. 4 S., R. 25 E. West side of River.
