This collection was apparently taken from below USGS M68 locality sample, which came from the top of the ridge and yielded Patriaspirifer kobehana and a coral identified by Merriam (1974, pl. 8, fig. 7) as Papiliophyllum elegantulum. 1990-33 is approximately the same as USGS localities M4, M69 and M1041.
