This report covers three pieces of core from Core 11 of the Ikpikpuk Test Well No. 1. All megafossil evidence points to a Permian, and not lowermost, Permian age. The most abundant fossils are bryozoans which have been turned over to O. Karklins for examination. The presence of the smooth chonetids, Waagenoconcha and Rhynchopora suggests a Leonardian age, though it could be a bit older or younger (late Wolfcampian through Wordian). Collections retained.
