Report prepared by: Dutro, J. Thomas, Jr.
Date: 02/18/1966

The following two collections from the McGrath A-5 quadrangle include the following:

***
Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
65AHr54 - collection from below and SE of a thick argillite section is a richly fossiliferous ls. and about 50' stratigraphically above a marble.

65AHr64 - collection from above(?) and N of the same thick argillite section is a richly fossiliferous ls. also and near contact with hornfels to north and appears to underlie the latter.

Similarity or difference in age here is needed to establish whether the lithologic units are 3 successive time units or that a fold exists repeating the fossiliferous ls.
