On the basis of the fossils in the collections, little can be said about their paleoecology. All of these collections are, of course, marine, and those from the Shublik containing "flat clams," the bivalve Gryphaea, and phosphatic molluscan molds suggest an outer shelf depositional environment.

Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
The 3 samples 221, 253, 421 were collected from recognized Triassic sediments and are of paleoecological interest. 69ARr224 is a significant collection as it may establish the presence of post-Sadlerochit Triassic rocks on the northeastern end of the Sadlerochit Mts.
