Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
This is one of the few carbonate units in the Livengood area that contains fossils. It seems to overlie a chert unit that is probably of Ordovician age. The relationship to other carbonate units, such as Tolovana Limestone, is not clear on the basis of present evidence.
