Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
Fossils are from fault blocks of limestone that underlie an anomalous and as yet undated sequence sequence of calcareous sandstone and shale. We believe that the limestone is Mississippian and correlative with a 1500' section of Upper Mississippian that crops out nearby. However, it is possible that the fault blocks are as young as Permian.
