Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1984 (05/11)
This report concerns 39 coral specimens in 3 collections from beds thought to belong to the Lisburne Gp., possible Alapah Ls., in the Brooks Range, Alaska.

One collection (83Mu77) is definitely late Meramecian, another (83Mu26) is probably pre-middle Meramecian, and the third (83KA7-6) is Mississippian, but cannot be placed more precisely.

Report by: W. J. Sando
Referred by: C. G. Mull
Age: Meramecian (pre-middle Meramecian Mississippian)
Formation: Alapah Limestone (Lisburne Group, possibly Alapah Limestone)
Comment:Corals in this collection are recrystallized and only tentatively identified generically. The collection is definitely Mississippian. The assemblage, if correctly identified, is restricted to pre-middle Meramecian Mississippian in western Canada and the western conterminous U.S.A. Ranges of these genera have not been established with certainty in Alaska.
