| Comment: | HALOBIA cf. H. SUPERBA of late Karnian age, in keeping with your field identification. Some years ago, in 1966, Irv Tailleur collected a number of ammonites of the long-ranging genus ARCESTES from this same little hill of limestone, but your Halobias actually provide a more refined age determination. |
