Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1983 (01/21)
Sorry for the delay in reporting on these collections. I was away from the office most of the time this summer from early May through September and just got around to the accumulation of referred collections last month (i.e. October 1982). All three of the present collections are being returned to you, as requested.

Age: Carnian (late Carnian)
Comment:HALOBIA cf. H. SUPERBA of late Karnian age, in keeping with your field identification. Some years ago, in 1966, Irv Tailleur collected a number of ammonites of the long-ranging genus ARCESTES from this same little hill of limestone, but your Halobias actually provide a more refined age determination.
