Coords. 16.63, 16.98, Long 162o 58 1/2' Lat 61o 56'. Near a bench mark at SW end of a ridge about 3 1/2 mi. WNW from Pilot Station and 2 mi. N of Yukon River. In sequence of thin-bedded calcareous, medium-grained, gray sandstone interbedded with black shaly siltstone and few beds of greenish-gray, non-calcareous sandstone."] |

| Comment: | Fossils from Mes. loc. M1173, 11774, 1176, 1177, and 1178 indicated a probable non-marine environment. These forms are generally similar to fossils of Albian age from the north slope of Alaska, but a definite correlation is not warranted on the basis of this material. |
