| Comment: | Washed residue contains heterogeneous rock fragments from higher levels intermixed with drilling mud of such fine silty texture that most washed through the screen. Besides a twistred steel rod, fragments are limonite oolites weathered out of the rock, green pellets weathered to limonite, some calcite, weathered quartz grains, and soft silty gray shale. Microfossils absent. |
