Comment: | Collection 38AMt58 has been assigned our collection number 8691. It came from the southwest side of the Yukon River, 3 1/2 miles south 55o east from the mouth of Fourth of July Creek. This collection is preserved in a light tan to whitish gray medium crystalline limestone. The following species, interpreted according to Girty's previous identifications of them in Alaska are in this collection: (see faunal list) This assemblage is typical of the Permian as identified as in this part of Alaska. |
