Age: Jurassic-Cretaceous
Comment:This assemblage appears to me to fall into either Jurassic or Cretaceous. None of the better preserved material is familiar, and a hasty comparison with previous collections does not give any clues to exact age. Cooper, Kirk, and I agreed that the material is not Paleozoic. [Note by R.B. Blodgett: Inserted page by Earl Brabb, note dated Dec. 1960, in v. 12 of Alaskan, states "From Mertie's 1938 field notebook, p. 92-93, locality 38AMt91 is opposite mouth of Dome Creek. Charley River B-5 Quad., NW 1/2 Sec. 25, T6N, R21E. Discussion of age: see USGS Bull 917D, p. 220-221"]
