This report is based upon shell fragments collected from the push moraine enclosing Harlequin Lake, approximately 30 miles southeast of Yakutat, Alaska.

Comment:These fragments suggest a very shallow water - low intertidal or shallow subtidal - depositional environment. They are not age diagnostic, but Yahle reports a date of 9,320 +- 350 yrs BP based upon shells from this locality. The material is being discarded.
