Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1973 (02/14)
This report covers 10 collections from the McCarthy C-1, C-2, and C-3 quadrangles, Alaska, made by D.L. Jones in 1972. Brachiopods from some of these have been identified by J.T. Dutro, Jr. The age, as suggested at the time the sections were received, is Early Permian, probably late Wolfcampian equivalent.

Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1973 (02/02)
This report covers 13 collections, from the McCarthy C-1, C-2, and C-3 quadrangles, made by D.L. Jones in 1972. Fusulinids were found in 8 collections and will be reported separately by Ray Douglass. Corals from 5 collections are being studied by C.L. Rowett. All evidence points to an Early Permian (Wolfcamp) age. Brachiopods are listed and discussed below.

The brachiopods are like forms reported by Waterhouse and from early Permian assemblages in the Yukon Territory. They correlate to some part of his Zone E, perhaps Zone Ey.

The material is being retained.
