Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1971 (03/17)
This report covers collection 60ACr131, transmitted to Helen Duncan in 1963 for study. It came to light during the clean-up of Miss Duncan's office on her retirement. Although any urgent need for information is doubtless past, the material has been identified to clear the records.

Report prepared by J.T. Dutro, Jr. (in consultation with W.J. Sando)

Report by: J. Thomas Dutro , Jr. , W. J. Sando
Referred by: Russell H. Campbell
Age: Late Mississippian (most likely Late Mississippian)
Comment:The fossil material is extremely fragmentary and silicified but undoubtedly represents a Mississippian assemblage, most likely Late Mississippian. The single horn coral, although not generically identifiable, is not a pleophyllid like the corals in 60ACr130. It belongs to a group that is common in the Mississippian. The brachiopods are clearly Mississippian and the fragmentary colonial coral (probably a lithostrotionid) strengthens this assignment.
