Comment:Collection 54AFy89A (Mes. Loc. 25584) contains a small immature ammonite probably belonging to Xenocephalites. It does not resemble any small ammonites from the Naknek formation and can be matched by specimens from the Chinitna formation.

Blodgett: The transmittal sheet of Fay gives a slightly differing lat./long for this locality (62o 04'22.5" N., 147o 23'06.5" W.) than that given in transmittal sheet of Grantz for another collection submitted earlier from this locality and used in the presently used coordinates on this web site (see report of Imlay, Dec. 1, 1954)]
