Description: DeLong Mtns. quad. at 68o 26' 30" N., 162o 42'00" W., sec. 33, T. 11 S., R. 46 W.; talus and float along small valley tributary to large branch of upper Kukpwruk River. Numerous Buchia in quartzitic wacke; apparently near base of unit because fossils found only near contact with chert.(description from E&R report); 68°26'30", 162°42'11" (description from Ellersieck et al., 1990)

This report covers collections of fossils from scattered localities in northern Alaska. Most of the fossils are Buchias of Valanginian age, including some fairly well preserved specimens of B. "sublaevis" from coquinoid limestone. Several collections of Jurassic fossils will be sent to R.W. Imlay. [Note by R.B.
