Description: collected near high tide line on the west side of Etolin Island (on Clarence Strait side) in southeastern Alaska (Lat. 56o 06 min. 00 sec., Long. 152o 41 min. 10 sec.). They were obtained from the Seymour Canal Formation.

Comment:The presence of the bivalves Buchia rugosa (Fischer) and B. mosquensis (Von Buch) at locality 82DB069A is evidence for an age ranging from late Kimmeridgian to early late Tithonian (see Prof. Paper 1062, p. 25).
The small ammonite from locality 82DB066A does not resemble any Jurassic genus and accordingly will be sent to Norm Silberling at Denver, Colorado.
