Comment:The bivalves at locality 78ACE 152 are small oysters and possibly belong to the genus GRYPHAEA. Their presence is evidence of an age not older than Late Triassic. In Alaska oysters are unknown or doubtfully present below the Jurassic and are not common below the Cretaceous. They could be younger than Cretaceous.
