Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1956 (05/23)
This shipment includes six collections, of which five are Mississippian in age and the sixth is of probable Permian age. Collection 53AMG11 (15428) appears to be of Kayak age (early Mississippian), as that terms has been understood in the northern Alaskan work. Four collections, from near the base of the Alaph limestone, are of late Mississippian age. Collection 53AMg3 (15425), from rocks thought to be equivalent to the Sadlerochit formation, is probably of Permian age.
Report by: J. Thomas Dutro , Jr.
Referred by: M. D. Mangus
Age: Early Mississippian
Comment:Although this collection is most likely of Kayak age, there is a possibility that it is the age equivalent of some part of the lower Wachsmuth limestone. In either case, it is early Mississippian age. ,p>Collection 53AMg11 (15428) appears to be of Kayak age (early Mississippian), as that term has been understood in the northern Alaskan work.
