Baldwin Peninsula on Eschscholtz Bay. 8' dark yellowish brown silt with involutions of 1' amplitude into underlying unit; 30' thin interbeds of silts in predominantly sandy section. Some frost cracks; 2' black silty peat. Horizonal and truncates collapse fillings below; 4'+silty sand like unit above. Cut by ice wedge collapses filled with olive grey silts (144D) from this collapse filling. D.S. McCulloch, 1961.

Beach bluffs near Riley's Wreck, Baldwin Peninsula. 1.5' oxidized frost stirred silt; 5' less oxidized peaty silt and silt with good stratification at base; 1' thin bedded detrital peat and peaty silt. Ice wedge collapse fillings top out in this unit; 8' greenish-grey stratified silt with snails and no other organic material (511A); 3.5' silt with peat and twigs. Contact with overlying silt is convoluted with relief of 1.5'; beach. D.M. Hopkins, 1961.
