This report deals with 23 collections of megafossils from 17 localities in the Gubik Formation of the Alaskan North Slope region. Field localities are listed below in numerical order. The Project Number is 9310--02009, NPRA Land Use Study.

Astarte borealis Schumacher
78ACrII15 (Cenozoic loc. M7340) , Teshekpuk , Lake bluff 35 feet high on north shore of Teshekpuk Lake, consisting of 1 to 8 feet of gray to blue clay overlain by 12 to 19 feet of gravelly sand, and capped by 15 feet of very fine sand. Shells collected from the lower two unites.

Samples [78ACrII60J, 60K, 60L] collected as follows: 60J is float from lower 40 feet of bluff face; 60K is from marine sand about 9 feet above river level; 60L is from sand 27 feet above river level.
