Title:
Report on Referred Fossils
, 1976 (03/22)
Report by:
Norman J. Silberling
Referred by:
Warren L. Coonrad
,
Joseph M. Hoare
Age:
Late Triassic
Comment:
Among the sparce, poorly preserved shells in these limestone blocks, one specimen has the external form and characteristic suture line of the ammonite
Arcesters
(sensu stricto). It is definitely Late Triassic in age, but a more refined age assignment cannot be based on this kind of ammonite.
