Title:
Report on Referred Fossils
, 1973 (11/21)
Report by:
K. M. Nichols
,
Norman J. Silberling
Referred by:
David A. Brew
Age:
Middle Triassic-Late Triassic
Comment:
The shell fragments in this collection are those of halobiid bivalves for which an objective age assignment would be mid-Middle to Late Triassic. These fragments may well represent the Upper Triassic genus
Halobia
, but their preservation precludes positive generic assignment.
Collection returned to Brew as requested.
