This is the basic report on two collections sent with covering letters dated June 26 and July 15. Preservation is medium to poor and this is a factor in the indicated uncertainties. I will try to answer your questions later. I will try to get this much off before leaving for a 2-week trip.

83ACL96 (10893-SD (for conodonts reported by Harris & Reed, 1984); 10746-SD (for corals reported by Oliver, 1983)) , Bendeleben , Rubble of fine-grained light- to dark-gray dolostone with well preserved and abundant solitary and rugose corals and stromatoporoids from hill top at 1250 ft. elevation, about 1-1/2 miles east of Admiral Creek and about 4 miles north of Tubutulik River, sec. 4, T. 5 S., R. 17 W., lat. 65 deg. 05 min. 00 sec., long. 162 deg. 06 min. 03 sec., Bendeleben A-1 quadrangle; submitted as Devonian?

83ADn25 (10745-SD) , Solomon , (Megafossils, corals, stromatoporoids, and brachiopods, were reported on in A-83-17 by W.A. Oliver, Jr. and J. Thomas Dutro, Jr. Oliver assigned the collection a probable Frasnian age and Dutro assigned one specifically determined brachiopod a Frasnian, possibly middle Frasnian, age.) Black, fine-grained dolomite with abundant well-preserved megafossils from rubble crop south of Clear Creek and north of Kwiniuk River, sec. 3, T. 8 S., R. 18 W., lat. 64 deg. 50 min., long. 18 min., Solomon D-1 quadrangle.
