Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
Limestone unit at base of Lisburne allochthonous sequence persists across 1,000 or more km. Lithologically resembles Devonian Baird Group but occurrence subjacent to impure carbonate of Mississippian Utukok Fm. would be a new occurrence.

Specimens and material returned to Tailleur.
