Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
Rr309-310 may represent Lower Mississipian; if so is significant to geologic interpretation. Rr394, 427 are the northernmost outcrops of Lisburne in the Mt. Michelson quad - and are overthrust by the Sadlerochit Mtns.

70ARr309 A thru G (M1029-PC) , Demarcation Point , Demarcation Pt. Quad, Alaska; 69-00-30; 143-06-00. Kongakut drainage. Location is approx. 12 miles south of Lisburne section measured by Armstrong on Aichilik River. These rocks may represent Lower Mississippian in contrast with that section. Collection is for thin sectioning for forams then at equal intervals from 18' limestone within Kayak shale.
