Description: 3.7 mi. N. 57o E. from Shellabarger Pass; from 5 ft. below top of Limestone unit D. Collectors: B. Reed, J. Ratte, 1974.
    *Section 135 - None of the collections in this section has an assemblage precisely like any in Section 43. However, they all appear to correlate with the Mecgeea Zone of the Frasnian, as do those in Section 43. On the basis of fossils, I concur that the two section represent the same sequence and that, if the beds of Section 135 are right-side-up, those of Section 43 must be upside down. Of course, unrecognized bedding plane faulting could complicate the situation considerably.

This is a preliminary report on 4 collections from Section 135, about 3.7 mi. northeast of Shellabarger Pass. All the identifiable fossils point to a Frasnian age, similar to that of the beds in Section 43. A report on the corals will follow.
