Fossils contained in calcareous lenses/boudins in clay shale unit underlying Fortress Mtn. Fm. equivalent nearby. Overlooked in 1961 but discovered by British Petroleum geologists in 1964. From terrane similar to that containing pyritized Buchia and coquinoid Buchia
