[Report prepared by: J. T. Dutro, Jr. in consultation with W. J. Sando and E. L. Yochelson] This shipment consists of 19 collections from St. Lawrence Island. Twelve of these are probably Devonian in age, including 9 that contain corals and stromatoporoids and will be reported on separately by Bill Oliver. Three probable Devonian collections are listed here: 70APa 143 and 144 which contain only gastropods that were identified by Ellis Yochelson; and 70APa 98, the brachiopod coquina, which is most likely Devonian (pre-Famennian) in age.

Two collections are almost certainly from the same beds as those at the base of the Mississippian section on the Ongoveyuk (70APs 111 and 70 APa 120b). Other collections that may be from this level, but do not contain diagnostic fossils, are 70APa 110, 70APa 99a and 99b. The float piece from 70APa 162 and two additional collections (70APa 112, 70APa 107) are probably from beds slightly higher in the Mississippian sequence.
