Brief statement of problem and remarks (from collector):
Detailed locality description (Include Stratigraphic position).
Bombardment Creek-Wiseman quad.
Shublik Fm.
Massive black siltstone with Monotis 73ABe343 ... 100 ft.
Soft black shale, siltstone and limestone with monotids 73ABe340E .....100 ft.
--------
Sadlerochit? Fm.

Lithostratigraphic unit(s) Shublik Fm.

Dominant lithology. Siltstone, black, calcareous, pyritic

Remarks. Locality is in a probable fenster in which the Paleozoic sequence is like that of the N.E. Brooks Range and unlike that of the Central Brooks Range rocks in the overlying thrust plate. The massive siltstone (73ABe343) at the top of the exposed Shublik resembles slightly the Karen Creek sandstone of the N.E. Brooks Range. Is it the same age as the Karen Creek?
