This report covers four collections from the Permian strata of the Mount Hayes quadrangle. All contain recognizable assemblages that permit correlation with various parts of the Mankomen Group in the A-1 and A-2 quadrangles. The collections are Early Permian in age, with 27355-PC the youngest (probably a Leonardian equivalent). (see also reports by Karklins, dated 2/26/79, and Douglass, dated 4/3/79). The other collections are probably Wolfcampian. |
