Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1984 (03/05)
This report covers 2 collections from the vicinity of East Lime Lake, northeast of Lime Village. One of the collections (83AR53) is almost certainly Permian; but the other (83AR55) is not determinate. Both Permian and Devonian fossils have previously been identified from the Lime Lakes area.
Report by: J. Thomas Dutro , Jr. , W. J. Sando
Referred by: Bruce Reed
Age: Early Permian (probably Early Permian)
Comment:This is definitely late Paleozoic, probably Early Permian, related to the Permian carbonate sequence in the Tikchik Lakes region. The coral genus ranges from Pennsylvanian to Permian and thus is compatible with the Permian age indicated by the shelly fauna.
