Age: Late Permian ((early) Late Permian)
Comment:Both the matrix and the clasts contain Permian megafossils. The matrix contains a large Spiriferella and several linoproductoid fragments, some of which are almost certainly Megousia and others may be Yakovlevia. The age is almost certainly early Late Permian.
Two of the clasts contain generically indeterminate fragments of large productoids; two othes have, most probably, fragments of Septacamera like those described by Grant from the Halleck Formation. Another fragment may be Spiriferella, but this is very questionable. In any case, the clasts are probably from earlier Permian strata, reworked into the later Permian beds.
