Title: Report on Referred Fossils ,  1969 (12/31)
The Permian collections fall into two main groups: 1) those that contain the common lower Sadlerochit brachiopod assemblage, the charateristic Arctic Permain fauna of Svalbardian age (earliest Upper Permian); and 2) a slightly younger assemblage with Chonetina cf. C. superba and/or Permophricadothyris. The locations of the three collections in the latter category are interesting. One comes from the Permian on Joe Creek, a second from the Permian near the Marsh Fork-Canning R. junction, and the third from an unknown level on Cache Creek in the upper Ikiakpaurak Valley.
