Description: Howard Pass C-5. Lat. 68o 44'50" N., Long. 158o 55'20" W. A 5-cm-thick layer of light-gray to light-green chert, within an interval of red chert; approx. 13 m stratigraphically below(?) 92AD51E. In thin section, chert is pale-gray and very fine grained, and contains abundant radiolarians; tests filled with coarser crystalline quartz or chalcedony. [USGS Howard Pass 1:250,000 C5 quadrangle, T. 8 S., R. 30 W., sec. 19; NE side of NE-trending rise at elevation 740 m; approx. 2.0 mi west of Jubilee Creek and 3.0 mi north of confluence of Jubilee and Rampart Creeks; same locality as 92AD51E.
