Description: Howard Pass C-3. Lat. 68o 31.3' N., Long. 157o 30' W. Sample from nodular-bedded, medium-greenish-gray chert (locally red-weathering) that overlies unit Mlb, lithology resembles that of unit PlPs. Conodonts (table 1) from upper part of unit Mlb at this locality are of probable Mississippian age. (description from Dover et al., 2004, p. 58 (Table 2))
